This course exceeded all my expectations. Tanguy has an easy teaching method. We spoke only French at lunch and at the sightseeing event each day. (I spoke French back in college but not much since so I was not a novice, but pretty rusty.) I have been taking French classes since 2022 with Tanguy having started as a total beginner. I initially wanted to learn to communicate better with my partner's family as French is their first language. However, with tailored lesson plans with a great range of speaking, listening and written exercises it has been easy to progress to formal exams. Tanguy’s Paris French Immersion course was not only one of my best learning experiences but also one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. I had only been studying French for a few months, and the combination of focused one‑on‑one lessons each morning and real‑world practice throughout Paris was the secret sauce of the program. Speaking French in the Latin Quarter, Montmartre, around the Eiffel Tower, and even in rooftop bars and hidden local spots was an incredible private VIP tour all while learning the language. My name is Tanguy and I am a native French teacher who taught French grammar and translation at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. For over 10 years, I have been teaching French to international CEOs, diplomats, and expats in Paris, London, and Saint Barth. As a fluent English speaker, I have a deep understanding of the specific challenges English learners face.

French Course Program

Our Saturday French course is divided into a 3-hour morning session and a 3-hour afternoon session, with a 90-minute lunch break in between.

• Morning Session: Focused on boosting your speaking skills and confidence through real-life expat scenarios, helping you navigate daily life in Paris with ease.

• Lunch break: Join your teacher and other expats for lunch to practice your new skills in a relaxed, casual setting.

• Afternoon Session: Concentrated on Business French, where you will practice professional interactions—such as how to express disagreement diplomatically—through realistic workplace simulations.

Our French course takes place in a beautiful Haussmannian building right next to the Eiffel Tower. To complement this exceptional setting and ensure your comfort, we provide coffee and tea so you can focus fully on learning.

Through intensive practice in the classroom and real-world experience—like introducing yourself or describing your professional background—you’ll gain the fluency to chat comfortably in Paris.

Regional cuisine

Step beyond the classroom and into one of our hand-picked Parisian restaurants. You’ll connect with your teacher and other expats in a supportive, safe environment where you can immediately practice ordering and chatting in French. This immersive lunch also introduces you to authentic regional French cuisine you may have never tried (Basque, Aveyronnaise, Breton, Alsatian, etc.).
